The system change had almost halved visibility; many strong content assets and category pages received too little internal link power. At the same time, page speed deficiencies (including time to interactive) and new Shopify circumstances required clear technical guidelines. What was needed was a prioritized plan with fast, low-risk levers — cleanly integrated into existing processes and implementable with resources from SEO, IT and shop management.
