Your tasks

  • Development and management of holistic SEO and GEO strategies for demanding customer projects with a focus on sustainable, measurable growth
  • Strategic responsibility for performance, goal definition and prioritization of measures based on clear business KPIs
  • Identification and enhancement of growth, stabilization and scaling potential along traditional search engines and AI-based search systems
  • Advice to senior and C-level clients, including clear, data-based decision-making principles and roadmaps
  • Analysis and management of complex SEO situations, e.g. during core updates, migrations, relaunches or AI-related visibility changes
  • Participation in the development of internal methods, frameworks and standards in the area of SEO and GEO
  • Sparring for colleagues on strategic issues and complex SEO setups

Your profile

  • You have several years of experience in strategically managing SEO programs and have demonstrably achieved significant growth or turnaround success
  • You have at least 5 years of experience independently managing demanding SEO projects in an agency or in-house environment
  • You think of SEO in terms of business impact and consistently align measures with sales, leads or other relevant KPIs
  • You are proficient in common SEO and analysis tools and use them strategically to make decisions
  • You have a deep understanding of modern search/AI ecosystems — from technical SEO and information architecture to AI-based search and response systems
  • You can communicate complex relationships in an understandable way and communicate confidently with experienced contacts on the customer side
  • German language skills at C1 language level are a basic requirement
