Your Mission

You will support our conversion team in the technical implementation of optimization measures:

A/B testing: Technical implementation of A/B and personalization tests on e-commerce websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – from simple UI adjustments to more complex tests on dynamic pages and single-page applications.

Frontend development: Implementing optimization measures within existing e-commerce websites. You work with existing DOM structures and shop systems, integrating our variants in a way that is as robust and performant as possible.

Consulting: You act as a technical sparring partner for our analysts when assessing the feasibility of test scenarios.

Quality & QA: You ensure that your tests function reliably across all browsers and devices. This includes independent testing, debugging, and technical QA before go-live, as well as analyzing and fixing bugs.

Stack: HTML, CSS, and above all, vanilla JavaScript. This includes browser APIs, DOM manipulation, events, fetch/API calls, and handling dynamically loaded content.

What you bring to the table

Experience: You bring solid experience in frontend development and can quickly familiarize yourself with existing websites, various shop systems, and third-party codebases.

Tech stack: Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and especially vanilla JavaScript. You are familiar with DOM manipulation, events, and asynchronous JavaScript, and can quickly find your way around complex or dynamic websites.

Testing tools: Experience with A/B testing or personalization platforms like Kameleoon, AB Tasty, VWO, or Dynamic Yield is a plus – but what matters more to us is your ability to quickly get up to speed with new tools and technical environments.

Debugging: You are proficient with Chrome DevTools, can analyze existing websites, and are able to isolate and resolve technical issues independently.

Design: You are capable of independently implementing design specifications and ideally have experience using design tools like Figma.

Modern websites: Dynamically loaded content and single-page applications don't intimidate you. You understand that a website's content and state can change without a traditional page reload.

Problem-solving: You have an analytical, solution-oriented mindset and can find robust solutions even when you don't have direct access to the source code or the underlying shop system.

Language: Excellent German skills (C1) are mandatory for coordinating with our analysts.
