Part-time payroll specialist
(approx. 10-15 hours per month) (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to carry out our monthly payroll independently. All billing-relevant data is prepared and provided by HR in a structured way — your focus is on technically correct billing. The role is clearly defined, remotely possible and comprises approximately 10-15 hours per month.

Your tasks

  • You are independently responsible for processing the monthly payroll and ensuring its accuracy and timely completion
  • You are responsible for the correct application of wage tax and social security regulations and independently assess even complex individual cases
  • You work closely with HR management and ensure that all payroll-relevant information (e.g., new hires and departures, contract changes, absences, variable compensation components) is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
  • You are responsible for all reports to social security institutions, the tax office, and other authorities (e.g., ELStAM, social security reports, annual reports)
  • You support wage tax and social security audits

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience in independently processing payroll
  • In-depth knowledge of wage tax and social security law
  • Proficient in common payroll systems (e.g., DATEV)
  • Strong professional judgment in assessing individual cases
  • Structured, precise, and reliable work ethic
  • Availability: Approx. 10–15 hours per month, flexible around the payroll period
  • German language skills at C1 level, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Ideally, experience with DATEV or comparable payroll/HR systems
